Ethical Standards

The Global Journal of Dental Specialty (GJDS) is committed to upholding the highest standards of research integrity and ethical publishing. The journal follows the recommendations of the International Committee of Medical Journal Editors (ICMJE), the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE), and other internationally recognized ethical guidelines. All submitted manuscripts must comply with accepted ethical standards for research involving human participants, animals, and scientific reporting.

Authors are expected to:

  • Conduct research ethically and responsibly.

  • Obtain all required ethical approvals before the study begins.

  • Ensure the accuracy and integrity of reported data.

  • Comply with the journal's ethical and editorial policies.

Ethical Compliance

Research involving human participants or animals must have prior approval from the appropriate Institutional Review Board (IRB) or Ethics Committee, where applicable. Authors must also obtain informed consent and disclose any conflicts of interest in accordance with the journal's policies.

Editorial Responsibility

The Editorial Office reserves the right to reject any manuscript at any stage of the editorial or publication process if there is evidence of unethical conduct, research misconduct, or non-compliance with the journal's ethical requirements. Allegations of misconduct are investigated in accordance with the recommendations of COPE and ICMJE to ensure fairness, transparency, and the integrity of the scholarly record.
