The Global Journal of Dental Specialty (GJDS) is committed to publishing original and ethical research. In accordance with the recommendations of the International Committee of Medical Journal Editors (ICMJE) and the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE), all submitted manuscripts are screened for plagiarism using Turnitin before entering the peer-review process.
Authors are required to:
Submit a Turnitin Similarity Report with every manuscript.
Ensure the work is original and unpublished.
Properly cite and reference all sources.
Obtain permission for any copyrighted material used.
The Editorial Office carefully reviews all similarity reports to identify plagiarism, self-plagiarism, duplicate publication, and excessive text overlap. Where necessary, authors may be asked to revise the manuscript or provide clarification before further consideration.
The journal reserves the right to screen manuscripts for plagiarism at any stage of the editorial or publication process. Manuscripts found to contain plagiarism or other forms of publication misconduct may be rejected, corrected, or retracted in accordance with the recommendations of COPE and ICMJE.
